OOOHHHH, thats a tough one. to be fair all the instructions came with the cam. Involved a degree wheel. I downloaded one and copied/laminated my own. Also from memory it is on the comp cams web-site. Basically involved rotating the crank backwards and forwards noting when the no.1 valves starts to open, and splitting the difference on the timing marks. Sorry thats the best I can do without looking it up again.
@ crsmiffy : Thanks for the links, good info. But guess I should have word my question more precise or reword it.
Foe example the comps cam I bought for my build actually stated that there cam had no retardation ground in, but did give me the instructions to set it up to the 110deg centerline it was ground for, but thats another thing.
Your post in the other thread got me assuming that there was/is a difference between the comp instructions and the cam layout. I have a comp cam too and had the thought maybe I made a mistake during the rebuild. I was wrong, just forget it ...
Go your hardest with that one. If no one knows it you'll start a trend. My favourite (and very under used\rated is gripper. As in "he is such a gripper" . I think you can work that one out too. Just say it like that and it will be another favourite word. HA HA

Haaaa. Haaaaaa. Yes it is a good word and actually sounds worse than it is with out being X rated. Don't use it as much as I should and I like the word. Good luck.
