Another problem I'm having with my 98 DD is on my driver's side floor whenever it rains, snows, or any time moisture is on the ground, it seems like the driver's side floor fills up with water. When I first got the truck I re-sealed the back window and the third brake light because I found moisture on the headliner, and I haven't had any problems since. I've taken up the carpet and looked for some type of a plug missing in the floor etc...but haven't found anything yet. Has anyone had this type of problem or any insight on it? Thanks.
Check for a rusted weld at the upper portion of firewall, make sure no tears in weatherstripping around door and make sure no leaves etc are clogging the cowl vent (in front of windshield).
Rusted weld is a good idea. The front fender has to come off. Once i had that problem and took off the front fender. At nite i used a flashlite to find a separated weld in front of the door and below the corner of windshield. Seems like this is a design flaw. Also, don't discount a leaky windshield.

Might have to give the front fender a try. I've actually thought it might be from the windshield however, on days when the truck sat inside and then driven on wet streets I still get the same wet spot on the floor.
