Installing larger adjustable track bar on 99EB
Installing larger adjustable track bar on 99EB
I'm wanting to install one of the Zone Adjustable Track Bars on my 99 early build.
I understand that I will need one of the later model frame brackets to mount it to. Wondering how those of you who have done this have mounted the track bar to the axle. I found one thread where someone described modifying the Skyjacker TB-920 lower bracket to accept the larger bolt, but was wondering if it was possible to simply modify the existing hole to work without spending another $100.
Any tips or suggestions from those who have successfully done this?

You could check out this link: Ford Superduty Track Bar Repair Kit
This is an aftermarket replacement bracket for the axel side mount. You will have to cut off the old one first, though.

Great! This is what I wanted to hear. The other link is very interesting too, but involves a little more work than I'm willing to do at this point. Just wanted to be sure that it was possible to make the larger adjustable bar work. Thanks!
Just curious, did you do the same with the upper frame mount hole or did you get the later model bracket?
