Cracked manifold... Replace with headers?
Thanks everybody for the feedback, info, etc. I appreciate the help! I don't know when I will get anything done for the exhaust, it is a near-future thing I would like to get done, it's just a lack of funds due to lingering work needing to be done on the truck that is more important. I will post back here with what I finally went with when that time comes.
Alright. Thank you for the information!
The Thrush Turbo mufflers don't sound too bad:

I found a set of Pacesetter's for about $270... and I could get a set of Flowtech's for $150.
Are Flowtechs any good? Considering it would save me $$$..

Yeah, TexasGuy, those are the mufflers I think I will end up getting once I get the $$$ for everything to be done at once. Doesn't sound annoyingly loud, and it's not too quiet either, right in between.
When I get around to running true dual exhaust on mine, I'm going with Dynomax ultraflo welded. They are sometimes called race magnum.
My truck currently has magnaflow on it and its nice, but a bit too mellow.
I've had different series of flowmaster on various vehicles, and I'm done with the hollow tin can sound and droning.
As for headers, I may go with JBA. If not I'll just get the Summit branded Pacesetter shorty headers.

i have the summit branded pace setter shortys, they worked out very nice
With headers, I would highly recommend ensuring the head plate is at least 3/8" thick, otherwise warping & gasket leaks are going to be an issue.
With mufflers, I have used allied units for many years (30+), almost every muffler shop has them, they are a straight through design, flow every bit of any "Performance Muffler", costs about $40-50 each, come in a variety of sizes/lengths, have a nice rumble on accel & decel with a very deep tone.

did you decide to do long tubes or shorties? shorties seem better for every day drivers. the long tubes make it hard to get to your starter and will require more modification to your original exhaust. power difference shouldnt be that noticeable, again, this is a daily.
If you do LT's the Pacesetter 70-2221 are reported to have the best fitment on our trucks, and consistent quality. They're 3/8, and the easiest installation. Others have issues with the tranny cross. If you go shorties, you might as well ditch that factory Y-pipe while your're at it, little more work, little more money, but ready for a cam swap to make power (or MPG's).
