Go to your local auto parts store. They have the plastic bushings there in a universal pkg

If it's a '95 or older it should have a 1356 t-case. The 4407 has a round flange that the rear drive shaft bolts to with four bolts. The 1356 has a slip yoke. The difference in the t-cases determine the length of the linkage bar. The 3 3/8" bar is for the 4407 t-case mated to a ZF (manual) trans. The 4 3/8" bar is for the 1356 t-case mated to a ZF trans. Those measurements are hole center to hole center, so the whole bar it's self is a little longer than that. I drilled a 1/2" hole in some that I have made and it works fine. The factory hole is maybe 1/32" of an inch bigger. Just get you a piece of 1/8" x 1" flat bar and drill 1/2" holes in it where they need to be for what t-case you have. Use the plastic grommets from your old bar.

I know i am bringing up some old news here but i bought a 94.5 with no linkage at all(guy said he broke it and took it off) it had no plate or aluminum plate or anything.

so i went to by 95 which is my total loss parts truck and took all the linkage off.

thing is on my 94.5 the transfer case has a little arm coming out of it with a pin on the linkage would mount to that i cant remove.

but on my 94 its got no arm and a threaded bolt with a 10mm nut. so when i took it off i had to remove the bar that attaches via the 10mm nut and go one bushing higher up and attach to that arm.

just wondering if maybe my 95 had a newer tcase in it? or does anyone know the differences?

Thanks
Dustin

95 and older has the 1356 and a SLIP yolk for the rear driveshaft
96/97 have a 4407 and a BOLT on rear yoke

Transfer Case Connection Rod

I need one of those for my 97 powerstroke. E40D transfer case. The guys didn't put any of the linkage back on when they replaced my transmission. Any ideas? If someone has one for an automatic, I could easily fabricate one if I had the proper measurements.

Thanks!
