locking hub question

Hey guys I'm gong to be replacing my wheel bearing and would like to do it as cheap as possible as I don't have a lot of money to put into it. That being said I am a true believer in preventive maintenance and being one step a head if you will. I have manual locking hubs and I saw a right up done on this and noticed that u pull the hub out and I was thinking while I'm doing the bearing I might as well do the hubs or at least service them I see warn sells a kit. Problem is this I don't know what warn hubs I have! I never had manual hubs only automatic transcases. Any help with what kit I would need to service it or how to identify the hubs would be great. They are warn black with red inside where you turn to lock them in place. The truck is a 92 f150 ext cab 5.0 thanks for any and all information

Well, if they have a plastic dialthey are the lower end ones and if they have the metal dial they are premium, that is all I can say about the warns.

I believe they are the plastic ones. Did they come from the factory with warn hubs? Are the lower end ones bad compared to the higher end? I don't want to spend the money upgrading if I don't need to but if its cheaper in the long run then I will

The lower model is fine. Only difference between the two is the dial/**** is steel/metal on the premium model IIRC.

Here is a link to both service kits from Warn:
