Dirty, did you have any luck finding someone near you in the NC chapter? Might drop a PM to nccpartsman, he used to live there so might be able to point you in a good direction.

Hang in there Dave sooner or later you will WIN
Oh I am hanging bud....... I look at it this way. The more I work on it the more I learn the truck.

I understand when others offer up suggestions to take it to the dealer and have a diagnostic done on it ... (Call me Hardheaded) but I just want to learn is all.

yeah.......... no offense to anyone that offered advice on taking it to the dealer...... not what I meant.

I am just saying that every vehicle that I have owned ..... I have learned to work on..

yes ....... trial & error, but I learned....... and mostly the hard way, but I learned non the less.

I don't know anyone In Fayettenam to recommend. There used to be a guy named Tim that came on here with an 03 that might be able to help and he works at a repair shop but I don't remember the name or location anymore. The dealerships there are worthless when it comes to repairs IMHO.

Thanks Bud,

And yes ..... My decision was to take my truck to Lafayette Ford on Raeford Rd....... that was until a good "seasoned" friend informed me of their abundance of stupidity in the service department.

Keeping fingers crossed and hoping the different FICM I am getting from Ed will do the trick.

I am ready to get started on my Krawler project
