You know David i am kinda same way want to do it myself , hell i have even thrown a few extra parts at her before but i eventually got it and learned and what i saved in labor payed for parts.

I don't know anyone In Fayettenam to recommend. There used to be a guy named Tim that came on here with an 03 that might be able to help and he works at a repair shop but I don't remember the name or location anymore. The dealerships there are worthless when it comes to repairs IMHO.

And yes ..... My decision was to take my truck to Lafayette Ford on Raeford Rd....... that was until a good "seasoned" friend informed me of their abundance of stupidity in the service department.
Keeping fingers crossed and hoping the different FICM I am getting from Ed will do the trick.
