no. the only thing that would be different would be the gearing. check on the tag inside the door jam. the should be a number under axle. in the tech folder there is a list of all the codes. ford hasnt changed the axle until 2011 where now they offer electronic locking dif.

I thought the 2005 up had a wider track width? That was the reason why 2005 up wheels look funny on 2004 down trucks... If you can measure from the wheel mounting flange on both axles just to be sure.

I think that's because of the wheel backspacing?
