I have an '05, and would like to know if the intake HAS to come off to do the egr delete ? Also..I need someone to explain, or send me a link as to what an stc fitting is, and what dummy plugs and stand pipes look like...and where these items are located, and what they do. Thanks for the help guys.

The STC fitting (Snap To Connect) is located on the back of the HPOP (High Pressure Oil Pump). Since the "W" pipes are designed to be used on either side they have two ports for the HPO (High Pressure Oil) to enter. The dummy plugs block one hole on either side of the engine. The standpipe delivers HPO from the HPOP to the "W" pipes on either head. This should help point out some of it...
(this photo is from an older "straight rail" engine)
And here's a decent video of replacing the STC & it's location...
If you want to skip to the topic at hand...6:45 in the video he show the STC fitting and it's replacement. Bill Hewitt used to have a video of a '06 KR that he replaced the dummy plugs on...but I can't seem to find that one.
Nice post zhilton. I guess some users forget that ALL of this information can be found in the Tech Folder. It has been an endless resource for me over the years.
