67 F250 Highboy core support

What core support can I use for a 67 highboy? Is it the same as a regular 67-72 even though the frame is narrower? And where can I find the best one?

All 1967-1972 frame widths are the same. Frame widths changed in 1973 and 1977 I think, but even then it was rear of the cab.

Depending on where you are you should be able to get one out of a junkyard. Pretty sure a 73-79 core support will work as well if you can find a good one at the right price, but it may require some minor midifications.

The so-called narrow frame has nothing to do with the radiator support, since all 1965/79 F100/350 frames are the same width from the front...thru the cab.

Narrow frame has to do with the width between the inner frame rails behind the cab, which is 33 1/2" for all 1965/72 F100/350's, 1973/77 F250 4WD's (High Boys) and 1973/79 F350's on the 140" wheelbase.

1973/79 F100/350's except as noted above have 37 1/2" rear frame rails.

1967/72 F100/350: There are TWO different radiator supports.

The difference has to do with...if the Super Cooling Radiator (SC/R) is present. Since the SC/R is higher, the opening radius is larger and the mounting holes for radiator flanges are in a different location.

All 1967/72 F100/250 4WD's & F350's came with the SC/R as standard equipment.

1973/77 & 1978/79 F100/350's with round headlamps: The radiator supports are different than 1967/72, and again, there are TWO different supports because the SC/R was also available in these trucks.

1967/72 F100/350 "as original."

C7TZ-16138-A .. Radiator Support / Obsolete / 3 available NOS

Applications: 1967/72 F100/250 2WD-Use with standard, Xtra Cooling & A/C radiators.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C7TZ-16138-B .. Radiator Support / Obsolete / 2 available NOS

Applications: 1967/72 F100/250 2WD with SC/R / 1967/72 F100/250 4WD & F350.

Radiator measurements: Standard, Xtra Cooling & A/C radiators: 26 1/4" wide x 19 1/4" high / SC/R: 26 1/4" wide x 24 1/4" high.

hey guys - looking for one of these. Seeing them on eBay, but also see ND said there were 3 NOS somewhere. If anyone has a lead on a NOS or one in good shape, please let me know. In Indiana I can’t find anything decent in the yard. Have to replace mine as rust on the bottom lip really can’t be fixed.

To add, have the 4X4 so I’m needing the C7TZ-16138-B. I did call a dealership ND suggested in another post and they had a NOS but it was $1250.

Core support

Check with Dennis Carpenter. I bought one and the fit was good and had no problem bolting every thing back together.
