reappearing codes

2k cavalier 2.2L 185k miles
Code p0133 came up, replaced precat O2, plugs and wires. Code was cleared, car ran smooth. 3wks, several hundred miles later Im getting p0133 and p0141. Car still runs good.

I havent checked the postcat O2 for power to the heater yet.
I dont know what would cause the O2 to have slow responce.

P0133 the o2 could have been contaminated by excessive oil consumption, coolant leaking into the combustion chamber or non sensor safe silicone sealant finding its way into the combustion chamber.
p0141 The way I test this is connect a test light to the heater circuit and start the engine. if it flashes or stays on steady the circuit is ok, replace the sensor, but figure out why the other one failed for p0133 or you'll prolly be right back where you started.

I cleared codes and its been fine since I last posted. Last week I get a P1137 code. Which means low voltage during power enrichment. Thats the downstream O2, correct?

yep #2 would be downstream. O2 sensors are subject to harsh environment being in an exhaust stream and all. I have access to live data so I could say either the sensor is bad or not, but most likely thats what it is. Rockauto has good prices on these.

well they're back again, P0141 and P1137. Do these codes have anything in common?
Bonus, the codes come with a leaking radiator too

yeah the thing they have in common is they both point to the after cat O2. Is it the original? I'm surprised it lasted that long.
