Pretty soon I'll get to the point where it will be time to swap the carpet & headliner over to black. Think I'll remove the insulation & replace it w dynamat which is lighter & better.
Wear gloves and long sleeves when removing the headliner. There is some nasty fiberglass or something on the back of it. Always makes my hands break out with itches and spots just stuffin' a wire under it. Almost like there's poison ivy powder up there.
Have a couple of helpers on hand for the headliner...it's all one piece and you'll need to nurse it out slowly to not bend it or damage the edges.
The seats will require a T-55 or T-60 torx (star) bit to remove them. You should only need one of the two but I have heard it could be either one. My 2004 was a T-55.
