Gonna do Injector Cups Saturday

And like everyone on here says have a good battery charger on hand because you will need it to get your truck cranked. It took a while and it smoked like crazy and ran rough for a bit but once it cleared up she is running like a champ now and no more diesel in the coolant and no more smoke at start up. we flushed it out a few times and I am going to do it again this weekend I noticed the coolant was dirty so I am guessing we may not have flushed it enough. My truck cranks alot easier now so i figure some of my glow plugs were probably shot too. Thanks to everybody on here who gave me advice and pointers.

Oh yea almost forgot. My truck is an 02 and the stock airbox is built on to the battery box so I had to take a band saw and do some triming so that I could get rid of the stock air box & make room for the new Riffraff intake but still use the battery trey. It was a little unexpected work but not too bad.

I think the cups on the driver side had been done before because you could see alot of the old compound on them and they made a little popping noise as they broke loose. The ones on the passenger side hardley had any sign of old retaining compound and they did not pop like the other ones, and the cracked one was on the passenger side as well.

He changed his cups because he had a crack in one so if you change one you change them all because you dont know if you have any others that might be cracked.
