Mine has yet to show any inclination of protecting me from this dangerous "ice" you speak of, even as I was driving through 28 degree weather with 2" of slush on I-68 through frostburg. It similarly failed to warn me about liquid's potential to turn solid this morning then it simply made me aware that it was NINE degrees outside. Its accomplice, the HVAC, did warn me that it was only twenty degrees inside.
We have to drive up 80 or 50 to see those here...it was 60 something today.
...dammit.
