44x19.5x16 boggers
I am wanting to run 44x19.5x16 boggers on my 78 f250. I currently have a 4" suspension lift and a 2" body on my truck right now. Now I know right off hand this isn't going to be sufficant enough to run that big of tire. What Im wondering is with so little choices for the f250, what am I going to have to do to fit these tires without cutting my sheet metal up? Is a 6" suspension and 3" body going to be enough? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I'm thinking more like 8" suspension and 3" body to clear 44's without issues. If it was a Chevy, it would take 12" suspension and 3" body.
Don't forget longer drive shafts, longer vent hoses for the differentials, longer brake hoses, shims to adjust the axles pinion angle, etc. You have to have a lot of additional work done to make the whole system of parts function properly. Once you're done, you'll have a huge truck that's a pain to drive and won't go through a lot of trails because it's too big. ......just sayin'.
