So i purchased the correct starter...(and yes when it come to electrical, i was handed the short end of the stick)
well, it has an extra lead on it.... black.
so where do i connect my starter cable.... where the lead is or the other connector???

If all you're wanting to do is replace your original with the factory style and not have to mess with anything else, you'll need to take that back. The one shown in OldStyle's picture is the correct type (no solenoid).
