Fire wood cutting season has officially begun at our house. I only cut for just over an hour but did a good job of getting sawdust in my ears, eyes, and everywhere else. The kids threw a bunch of dry wood in the basement and I started filling the drying wagon again. Here we go!
I don't mind doing it. It's just not as easy as it was before I had back surgery. I used to be able to cut all day for days. Now I only get an hour or two and pay for it for days. It helps that I use the saw rig on the front of the tractor so I can cut standing up. The kids do most of the bending to pick it up. The roughest part is out in the woods. We bring it back to the house in lengths and chunk it up here. The switch on the wall is easier but nothing heats like wood.
Good morning Wisconsin! Hey, big game Saturday night, Badgers and Huskers! Andy, you had me until the end of that statement....I could do without winter!
Good Morning.
Fall is here.
Time to start cutting firewood here also.
Going camping in Minocqua this weekend then at camp next weekend for the youth deer season. My 11 year old daughter wants to do the youth hunt.
Morning Tim. Yep, that time of the year. Neat that you can get your daughter to hunt! I've just gotten my 8 year old daughter interested in shooting bow.
