Well it was family night last night...we went to the drive-in and saw the new Pixar movie Brave along with an older movie Avengers...got home about 2am since it is so near the Summer Solstice (more on that later!)

Couple of honey-do's on the list today and than a Summer Solstice blowout party at a buddy's house...booze, food, live band and I'm sure cops will show up at least once since he lives in a neighborhood...but everyone there isn't there to fight and rough house...the noise with over 100 people just is hard to control...you know!

I'll get back on a plane tomorrow morning!

Its been non stop around here. I had a little free time yesterday so I put my dads new truck on the hoist and did a coolant flush and tune up of plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. This was stage two of bringing the beautiful 96 up to my standards. Still have all the rest of the fluids to flush out for new and then I can start in on part and component inspections.

I have a special like for this truck because it is so much like my old 96. I wish I would have kept my 96.

Well I've got a couple of hours this morning before I have to head to the airport...figured I'd get a short FTE fix and then read the paper.

Thanks. It's my fault, I lifted a full assembled 5.4 shortblock into the house and that wasnt fun.

I suffer with back & neck pain every day too Cory....

 

I typically dont. I did for a while when I took a humvee door to the back a few years ago. But this time I brought it on myself. Close to 400lbs on the engine stand and Im lifting it vertically up almost a foot.

With enough laziness, I know Ill be fine. lol
