Of course they were. It wouldn't be funny if they wasn't. Right?

A forum friend visited Arlington and stopped by my dads grave today. I havent been there in two years since its 2500 miles away.

FYI: Coins left on gravestones

Penny : A person visited
Nickle : Soldier went to basic with person
Dime : Soldier served with person
Quarter: Soldier was with person when they were killed

I never heard that about the coins. Thanks for sharing!

Any decent printer would have just neatly stacked a bunch of blank pages. NO mess. At most it would be an annoyance. There are a lot worse things he could have done.
And he didn't ever suggest he was proud of it.
It seemed more like sharing a dumb thing he did when we was younger and didn't know any better.
In fact, this thread is full of people doing much more disrespectful things for OUR amusement.

Serving hot breakfast in a place like that might be considered " combat duty"

That's pretty neat to hear about the coins, I've never known that. My grand parents were both in the Navy, my grandma has long since passed of various cancers but grandpa just died this year from leukemia. In August I visit San Diego CA for the funeral. I'll keep the coins in mind.

How about a video that shows a manly type man not scared of anything and his cowardly girlfriend that ducks at the first hint of trouble.

<iframe src='http://m.mlb.com/shared/video/embed/embed.html?content_id=33184127&topic_id=6479266&wi dth=400&height=224&property=mlb' width='400' height='224' frameborder='0'>Your browser does not support iframes.</iframe>

Or is it the other way around.
