Considering that the deductible is likely $1000 and the claim will likely result in a premium increase, it's a wash at best.

A dozen lap dances would be cheaper..... (At least that's what I'm told )

That's a pretty nice house! I'd live in it for sure. A rocking chair on that back porch with a Banjo. Heck yeah!

That only looks like a porch. Technically it's a platform for his moonshine still.

I'll take a shine still platform too! I'll parky my lawn chair on the grass and drink the fresh shine!

My dad actually went to highschool with a guy that was (really) making ethanol for his ride. His still ended up getting seized

That doesn't surprise me... The DEA doesn't like people making their own hard liquor even if it is for engines..

To keep on topic I though this would actually be pretty cool.

What do you do with the stuff that normally goes on a night-stand? Things like alarm clock, glasses, lamp, pistol safe, etc?

Does all that just get dumped on the floor?

There I would be, hunting for my glasses, trying to see the combo-pad for the safe.

Naaaaaa!

Neat idea, though!

You keep your pistol safe on your night stand?? Haha. I'd just knock all that crap off. I don't have glasses to worry about, my alarm clock... It's replaceable, Don't have a gun or a safe for it yet. I will after I get my CC when I hit 21 and when I can afford one.

Any kids over at the house (rare, though) should have a tougher time getting to it that way.

At my age, I don't mind the glasses. I've worn them for years.

Oh, yea, one more thing on the table: a CPAP!

Oh jeeze... Remind me not to anger the bulls O.o

Marv, I figure I'll need glasses eventually. My eye sight has been 20/20 for a long time but not so much anymore I am finding things more and more difficult to read at long distances. I'm more or less ready for them but I don't think I'll get them till it becomes a bigger issue.

As for the gun situation, I can see having the safe making things hard to get too for kids but having it ON the nightstand would be interesting. I'd think you would have it under the bed or at the very least behind the night stand on the floor. Unless you don't have a very heavy safe I guess. Once I move into my own house I'd like to get one of them real big heavy safes to store a few rifles and pistols with important documents. Right now I've got a small fire safe that is almost full of paperwork.

I just learned that here in Washington I have to pay about $53 for a CC permit... And here I thought it was free.

Like beer but have no shower head?
