About the only thing I'd be less likely to do is climb up a radio tower to change a light. Yeah, they make really good money, but unless you've tried climbing up one of them you have no idea what a 1,000 rung ladder is like!

never did a 1000 foot radio tower, but when i was a lot younger i used to climb 400 foot microwave towers to replace connections on the dish that would weather corrode.

I actually know Bruno, he fell to his death changing those Cell tower lights. Didn't believe in Safety harness. A nice guy too ! The early beginning of Mobile Computer Ethernet Repeater locations was part of his domain. That was part of my job, fixing mobile computing/diagnostic installations on production equipment. I remember him telling me about his Tower experiences about a year before his fall. Had 3 childs ! Every piece of equipment was diagnostic tracked / controlled/ basically tested heat and vibration of bearings, when I retired. Ford should install that on its front wheel bearings ! Ford has a huge history of front end failures !
