Hope all is well.

Have to say, and your don't often hear this from me, I'm ready for some snow.
When it does not snow, the ski business goes downhill and all the others follow. Sad to see.
One of my neighbors, just up the street, has a very large vacation rental business and she said that they sold out over xmas/new years but that was because of reservations made long in advance. Starting to slow down now.

Wow! Friday already?! Where did this week go? Well, for some reason I didn't get almost any sleep last night. Ugggghhh...so I feel like poo today. However, that's how it goes, I guess.

Hello Gigs, still no snow here. I have quit looking at the forecast.

I'm going to turn on my outside water and get the sprinklers going. It's dry.

Going down the the Brewery Arts Center this afternoon. They are taking part in the "wine walk" and it looks like a perfect day for it too.

Well, it was originally three, but now they knocked it down to one. But, it's still a gig. I'm shooting the BCS National Championship viewing party over at the Hilton Hotel on Monday night. My guess is a few big wigs are supposed to be there and I'm supposed to shoot them watching it on the big screen. You know, their reactions and all that jazz. So, I'll definitely have to be on my toes for this one and will have to almost anticipate everyone's reactions. Ohhhh boy. LOL

But it's cool...it's still a shoot for ESPN; can't knock that. ;-) I'm getting paid some decent money to do it and I definitely need that, so I can't complain about that either! LOL Plus, I found out I have another testing session in San Diego the very next morning, so this will help pay for that in a round about way.

How are things going for you up that-a-way?

Well, I hope everyone has enjoyed the weekend. I got to pay bills, go shopping, BBQ & have campfires Friday & Saturday nights. Today I think were going to my rental & mucking out the horse stall. I've been trying to find someone with a lil' bobcat or tractor to scrape & level it out, but no luck.

Bruce - $75.00 later....I did get the lap top back Friday afternoon & we need to get a Anit-virus/Malware installed. I guess there was 1,032 virus's & malware on the computer. That's what we get for running the laptop w/o protection! I don't know how people do it & not get virus's?! Must be more computer savy than I am & know what to click on & what not too!

Hi again...

Today has been a fairly busy one for us. We spent part of the day packing & moving things to storage or my (rental) house. Jimmy installed all the new light fixtures I bought & put some stuff in the shed. We didn't muck out the stall like I had hoped - too cold!
I like where we live now, but we're going to have to move eventually, as Karl (my son) will be 13 soon & we'll need a 3 bdrm house so he can have his own room. My 2 bdrm rental house will be perfect for my daughter, son -in -law & the new granddaughter!
Jimmy is hoping to find a new job soon, as am I, but with this economy & the job market...I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. Oh well, just gotta stay positive & hope for the best!
