I have seen a diesel powered mustang in one of the diesel magazines. Unfortunately it was a deramax and got like 20's or low 30's mpg.

I got my clutches off last night. Pretty easy. Took them to the guy I know that does sled work. They were definitely ready for maintenance after 9500+ miles. But didn't require any new parts, which is good because he didn't have any in stock. He said the bushings in the rear clutch are about half wore but still usable. Which is fine because I would like to up grade to an 06 or newer,hpv, rear clutch. Cost me $50 total. Good deal I think

Lynn's procedure went well. No serious issues. That was good news.
They are breaking because you don't have enough studs or need to place them differently. You should have around 144 minimum on that length track Jim.

. Its an 1.25" track so the studs are kind of long so they bend and brake easier. Need to hopefully find some good used ones.Good to hear the procedures went good
