November was our second best month in five years and December beat that. In some ways, December 2011 was our best month because it didn't have the two Herb Chambers Jeeps in it that December 2010 had and it still only came up a few thousand short of that mark, plus we have a customer with a lift kit, exhaust system, and wheel/tire package that will be paying for everything this week. But that's actually a December sale.

So, from a retail perspective things appear to be getting better and I'm optimistic for 2012 (if we can just keep the politicians of all stripes from mucking things up).

Sounds good Bill

I know I have been busy this Month also which is usually a slow time

Sorry, Ken, but the more pictures like that I can take, the better our snow plow sales will be! We sold four plows this season before Thanksgiving because people remembered last winter. As long as it's over by mid-March, it can snow all it wants!

I hope your optimism proves true. Personally my income was up bout 7% last year over 2010...looking to improve on that in 2012.

You in your new shop???

I hear 'ya...how 'bout keeping it in Worcester County??? We've been selling a fair number of plow rigs this season...folks looking to take advantage of the 100% tax write off.

I was sawing logs long before that...the game finished about 11:30...everyone was gone by 12:30. Of course...the cleanup waited until this morning. The only thing that spoiled the evening was that the Bruins lost...we had the game on in the background.

Not yet. Our lease runs through the end of June, but we're already in negotiations with the landlord to move into the space next to us in the same building. There's a hobby shop there now, but they are leaving at the end of May. It's about half the showroom space, but also less than half the cost because it doesn't have some of the wasted space our current footprint has. At the same time, we're keeping an eye open for suitable space elsewhere in the area.
