My wife had me running some errands with her this morning and other than that, just been taking it easy

 

Thats cool Neil. I have a few things on tap tomorrow. Tomorrow is also my drill night so a few hrs of military drill and ceremony is always fun. Probably going to take one of the bikes out for a ride on monday.

 

I have a 3 day weekend here so I can spread out what I normally do in 2 days.

I am also taking a little road trip next Friday/Saturday. I am heading down near Knoxville, TN with the basset rescue to help bring up 14-17 hounds that are coming from other rescues in Texas, Georgia and Tennessee. This is basically a down and back trip and the local rescue is having an adoption fair on Sunday to hopefully find these guys and gals their forever homes.

 

No long weekend for me Neil. I will get a delayed holiday for monday though. If you swing through Baltimore let me know. I can pass on a few good places to eat.

 

We will not be heading that far east. I am not sure if we will be going through Pittsburgh or swinging out into Ohio and going through Columbus, Dayton etc...

There are two of us that will be driving the rescue's transport van that they own while two more people are flying down, picking up a rental van and then driving it back with the other one.

 

Thats cool Neil. one of these days we will meet up somewhere.

 

I am sure that we will.

 

Who knows maybe this august depending on my schedule with taking a vacation and the trip to canada I will be able to swing through for a day.

That I dont Neil. I should know more of what is happening this august in the next few months.

Well it's another cold one here today...thermometer says 10° but thankfully there's no wind out there as I just came in from getting the newspaper and letting the big dog run a bit...the little dog is still curled up in bed with momma!

Well...I'll be catching a plane west in about 4 hours...gonna land in John Wayne today instead of LAX...bad thing is I'll be flying during the Giants game!...and I'm not sure the plane has satellite TV...it looks like it does...but I'll believe it when I see it!...

Go Giants!!!
