Good afternoon everyone. Took my son out to the OSU pet day this morning. He had fun looking at all the dogs, goats, llamas, and other animals there.

Waiting to put him down for his nap and then gotta do some yard work while the weather is still decent.

 

Good afternoon guys, sad day at our house. Last night we had to put down our large dog. He had somehow developed a twisted bowel and was in extreme pain. Because of how much pain he was in and his age we decided to let him go. He was a czechslovakian wolfdog, a shepard/wolf mix with some Akita mixed in. Chevak was my and my sons first dog we ever owned so it was a pretty hard ride going to and coming home from the vets. We new he had a good life and have seen dogs that got worse as time went by. We decided to have him cremated and have his ashes spread over his favorite trail he loved to run on. He isn't the only dog in the house, we have two cowdogs, one was brought into the house as a pup and lived him him until his death, she didn't want to eat this morning, time will heal.

 

Sorry to hear that Rob. It's always tough losing a good dog. Just remember all the good times.

Sorry to hear that Rob. It is always a sad day when we loose one of our buddy's.

 

He was a good dog, the best part was when we would take him the the vet for visits all the people who had little dogs would pick up theirs thinking he was going to eat them, haha.

 

He'll be waiting for you when you get to heaven.

Made it to Portland on the bike yesterday, meet up with my son in The Dalles, and had a good ride inyo Portland. He had one of the grand-kids on the back of his.

 

Good morning Oregon! It looks like it's going to be a great day. Sun is shining bright. Getting ready to head outside and get the camper uncovered and cleaned up for our first trip of the season.

Loosing a friend of any kind sucks! Just try to remember the great times you've had together.

Nothing at all since Thursday. Just kind of figured he was out playing with the HAM folks and busy wheeling-dealing and trading them out of anything that wasn't nailed down and some that were.
