Tools, tools, I gotta have more tools!

It comes with a usb cord with chargers for most cellular items. It also has a flashlight, strobe light, and flashes S.O.S. distress signal.
The instructions say it will run a laptop almost 3 hours. It can charge a cell phone about 7 times from empty to full.
They also say once the pack is fully charged, if not used , it will hold a charge for 6 months to a year. They recommend re charging it every 6 months though.
I will have many uses for this. It is excellent in the junkyard and will be very useful during hurricanes.
I do not get to hyped about tools, but this thing is cool.

Hey guys, long time no see.
Just wanted to share my latest find. Got me a Harrington 3 ton lever hoist (LB030-10) with a 10' drop for $16.00. Yup, 16 buxs, and it works great!
It had been sitting in the dirt behind someone's shed, but it's in great shape considering. I'm gonna clean it up, service the brake as it's a little gritty, and put this bad boy in service.
This is the model I got, and I'll post actual pics of it when I get it cleaned up.

These mini "jump boxes" with all the various different hookups on them are starting to pop up everywhere. I'm a little unsure as to how well they would hold up over time, with regular use. We've got one at the shop, and I was impressed with how quickly it got a car with a dead battery started. Just doesn't seem possible to pack that much power, in such a small battery, and make it durable too......

After being on the fence for a year, I finally broke down and ordered a TIG welder. I have some door skins to repair and think TIG would be a better option than MIG in that case.
I decided on the Eastwood 200 DC. The price was right, and despite what some have said, I've had very good experiences with Eastwood. I also have no need for an AC/DC unit.
I'll update when it arrives...
My Versa Cut 40 from Eastwood is fantastic so I have high hopes for the TIG. My MIG is a Miller, but I couldn't pony up the $$ for a blue TIG.

My 1972 Craftsman 1/2" reversible drill stripped one of it's reduction gears recently. Sears no longer has parts for it (imagine that!). I went by the store in Virginia Beach to see if they had a replacement, short answer, yes, long answer no way will I buy one of those wrist breakers! The only thing the have is a beefy looking 1/2" conventional styled drill, not anything like my old one. It does have a clamp on side handle, but it puts that right down at the chuck and the main handle back 8-10".
I decided to look elsewhere, I have a DeWalt cordless 1/2" that is a little more compact than the current Craftsman plug-in ones. I ended up at Northern Tool, and bought one of their Northern Industrial Heavy-Duty 1/2" spade handle drills. It comes with a 2 year warranty, and I opted for the extra 2 years. Manager of the Hampton store is a good friend, and he gave me a commercial price on it.
Here is a picture of the new drill on the left and old on the right:

I just bought a Craftsman Premium 80 tooth 1/2" drive ratchet for work, (outside machine shop requires it), got it off Ebay for $53.00 shipped. Goes for $80 in store and they have it on sale at the local Sears for $67. So I feel like I got a sweet deal. I'm thinking about picking up the 3/8" drive version and all the sockets for working on my truck once I finally get sick of the Kobalt kits my dad insists on using.
Also picked up some new feeler guages. Can't think of anything I would need those on the truck for, though.
