Thanks for the input buddy. That basically that's what my co-workers recommend it for idk my friend has one on his turbocharged honda. But then again he takes his to the track, I want mine for driving, cruising around to car shows, and some time having a little fun * burnin' rubber *
No offense intended, but your mildly built 300 has no need for any sort of fancy clutch, been there, my 300 was more built than yours, and I still ran the stock 10" clutch with no issues ever.
Ignore advice from coworkers or honda owners, they fail to understand your application. The stock drivetrain, clutches etc in these trucks aren't just barely good enough for stock, there is lots of reserve capability left.
A good upgrade if your flywheel is dual drilled would be to go to a stock issue 11" clutch, one of those somehow survives 3500rpm clutch dumps behind my 500 ft/lb 460, which is spinning 44's with 4.10 gears.

No none taken pally! I'm actually glad you wrote something and gave me some advice the last thing I would want is order the clutch and having to much of it! You know what I mean?
When my dad first saw the offy intake he said I would need a better trans. I told him "dad, believe me if we tow'n a steam roller and bobcat with the truck stock what make you think its not gonna handle what I'm gonna do it" my dad just laughed
Just outta curiousity what did you to your 300 buddy?

Well then, you've had your answer all along! Good advice to your dad, and to yourself. Go with what you already know.
I considered one of those 6 puck copper/ceramic clutches for my RX7, for about 2 minutes.... Then ordered an Exedy OEM replacement kit for much less money. 90% of the time, I just drive the car in a normal, sane manner. But, I also autocross with it. I don't do the 4K clutch drop like some guys do, opting instead to give a softer ~2500 launch. Lot less strain on the drivetrain, and the tires don't go up in smoke with me sitting still......
Moral of the story, the puck type clutches are fine for racing applications, but for the street, it's hard to beat the simple and reliable OEM style.
