Hi, Got a 1999 F250 Super Duty Speed control inoperative. Went thru control test, light flashed correctly and no codes ,but throttle did not move/took cable off servo and servo wheel barely moves after doing test,supposedly it's not supposed to move much. Went thru voltage and ohm flow chart test and got to if speedo works check circuit 679 ,but it checks 0k. When I activate speed control the light comes on and thats all, also if I hit the brakes the light goes out. Anybody have any idea whats wrong with my speed control?

 

A super duty belongs in a different forum, and what year are we talking?

Often the buttons on the sterring wheel get gunk in them. You can also pull the module off the top of the servo and have a look for burning, or for stripped teeth on the servo gears. Sounds like you covered everything electrical.

Swapped in used unit from another vehicle and now it works.
