Question to NumberDummy
This is a question regarding a circulation heater for a Ford Pickup F100 -56
I am looking for the rubber part that is located between the electrical motor and the heater housing, it´s like a rubber washer that fits to the curvature on the end of the electrical motor and makes the mounting plane to the heater housing flat.
It is not the big round soft sealing that are mounted between the electrical motor and the fire wall. The on that are avaliable at Dennis Carpenter / Midfifties / Sacramento Vintage Ford
Do you have any connection where one can be found
Thanks in advance

No basic part number of 18583 is listed in the text sections of the 1948/56 (printed 1964) & 1956 (printed 1957) Ford Truck Parts Catalogs.
1953 Canadian Ford/Mercury Truck Parts Catalog (printed 5/1953): 0A-18583 .. Blower Motor Mounting Gasket / Same as 1950 Ford Passenger Cars / Obsolete
Would this be the same as 1956? Dunno...and I couldn't find any. Suggest you go to an autoparts store, buy a thick piece of cork or rubber gasket material...then make one.
