Down in the Hood.
Hood adjustments? Got no idea. Passenger side rear hit metal to metal and drivers side front has a ding but is also hitting. I do not notice any holes for those wonderful rubber stopppers like my 78' has. Should I put some in, or am I totally missing something?

Down in the Hood.
There should just be 2 bolts on the hinge at each side of the hood. Loosen these and move the hood forward or back as needed. Close slowly to check for fitment. When you find the sweet spot torque them down, probably no more than 20ft-lbs.

This is a good time for your buddy to give you a hand. Before you loosen any bolts, score a line or make a mark around hinge bracket. Then you have something to go by, when it slides around. A little dab of waterproof grease on metal to metal areas will make it open and close smoother too. Don't forget to lube the latch assem. too.
