i believe this the one they did a recall on I know the plug comes out of the master but where is the sensor and the cable located?

 

You're thinking of the cruise control cancel switch. Ford called it a speed control deactivation switch. There's no level sensor. All the info you need to know can be found in this thread https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...nspection.html Post 121 and 139 have good pictures of the switch.
