Abbreviations
I am new to the Forum, and to Ford Diesels. I am reading the posts on the forum and have no idea what the abbreviations mean. Is there some place on the forum with the abbreviations listed and described?

I don't recall them being listed at all in the 6.4 section. Here are a few common ones.
ACRONYMS & INITIALISMS
DPF - diesel particulate filter
EOT - Engine oil temp
ECT - Engine Coolant temp
EGT - Exhaust gas temps
DOC - Diesel oxidation catalyst (CAT)
HPFP - High pressure fuel pump

Thanks for all of the info. I don't feel so lost now.
I was reading this forum and thinking that regen was something that really affected the truck if you had a tuner or another kind of addon. "Cleaning Exhaust Filter" I was familiar with.
