anybody know of any? i'm in cheney wa, and i can't find anything more than a glorified mud puddle. if any body knows of some good places to go romping i'd be really glad to know where
First of all there's not a whole lot of mud in E. WA., If that's what your looking for. There is some pretty good wheeling in Liberty though. It's betweeen Cle Elum and Ellensburg.
i've found some mud holes, in spokane area (cheney there are pothole lakes every where and the deepest they get is 10 feet) but i'm looking for any kind of wheelin in eastern wa, MOSES LAKE SAND DUNES ARE WAY COOL!!!! i live there when not at school, everybody in Washington should make the trek there for memorial day for sure.... anyway i know there is an orv park outside of spokane some where but other than that i don't know and would like too.....
i have a old *** superlift lift kit so articulation is minimal....just something to think about..and i'm not driving more than 50 miles to wheel, as the sig say i break parts, don't need a long ride home from a tow truck.
I don't know what is further east than that. I've never had the need to go that far over for wheeling. Liberty is awesome, and there's tons of trails. Been going there for 2 years now and haven't even come close to hitting all the trails. What kind of a rig do you drive? There's a couple of nice ORV parks over on the west side if your interested.
i just recently (2weeks ago) bought a 1976 f100 w/ 390/c6/203 and it has i think a 6" lift and 36" swamper radials, and thats about it right now. But my debit card took me to the local parts store, and now lying next to me in my room are the following: mallory hyfire, accel wires and super coil, dynomax headers (they're getting returned for hedmans, i've heard plenty of bad things about them.) and edelbrock preformer intake, an edelbrock 750 cfm performer, the offroad needles and seats to go with, a chrome ebrock air cleaner, a k&n to go in it, a set of 38" purple hornies to round out the exhaust system....and hopefully on there way is a new cam shaft (if i get gutsy enough to try to put it in) and a mini spool for the rear.
Hopefully everything will be in by the end of the month, i can barely move around in my room. By the way you if you guys have fast trucks you seriously should consider camping in the dunes in moses lake on memorial day weekend, tons of fun, dune racing everynight and great camping in the day.
email me I'm 20 minutes west of cheney on I-90 and we wheel every couple of weekends water mud rocks you name it. At last count there are 7 big fords plus numerous other makes
Originally posted by superswamper i may make a few trips over to the west side this summer so if you know of good spots that are a must hit, near the redmond area i'd love to know/go
Get ahold of "the law" he is near there and has info on a place in Sultan that I heard is pretty good, we are across the sound and have a four wheel drive park about 5 mins from our house soooo if you ever want that info let me know...it's worth the drive. We had a get together back in November with some other members of FTE Northwest chapter, it waws a blast! Also I know if you go east of Spokane into Idaho there are tons of logging trails and lots of mud to be had, just been so long since I have been there to remember exactly where.
If its mud you whant talk to me. On the 10th of may a buddy of mine is putting on his anual mud racing event in ione WA (about 85 miles north of Spokane). The mud there has claimed manny trucks and even more trannies (this stuff is the sonsistancy of slightly wattered down potters clay). The pits are 2 side by side 150" long beasties. PM me if you whant details, we will probly be convoying up there on the 9th.
