Dim Headlights

I have tried to clean my headlights both with rubbing compound and plastic cleaners. When I look at them they seem to be reasonably clear but when driving at night they seem to be very dim. I thought of getting a new set of headlights from eBay. any suggestions?

have you tried the 3M stuff? That worked well for me.

Thats what I was thinking as well..

Also, if it is a lens issue, I like the mcguires lens re finisher!
