Hi y'all ..I'm usually up one section but I stumbled upon somethin y'all might like to hear about...so a few weeks ago I'm driving around being nosey on a Sunday and see this black crewcab ford sittting in the weeds I turn arund park and walk over low and behold here sits an 85 f350 crewcab 6.9l auto c6 xlt f350 dually...so I start knockin on the door and this goofy lookin fellar answers the door I say hey you wanna sell that truk he goes yea 500..so needless that's chea to me so I bought it..took me my 94 crew and a 95 350 4x4 dump to get it outta the ground it was sunk in..drag it to the shop..nowthis guy bought his truck brand new in 85.that's right 1 owner truck..parked it because it got close to 100k and bought another truck...yep its got 60k on the odo now...says it quit runnin after he parked it..its been dead since 2001..s I take it to work drop some batterys in it pull the fuel filter and ewwwwww what a mess 10 yr old fuel..o well..fill the filter crack the injectors and crank crank crank nothing..pull the hose off the lift pump and stick. Blow gun in it have. Buddy listen in the tank he hears ai so the lift pumps prolly puked..nope not the case so we pull the metal lin off th filter housng..voila plugged clear shut..clean it out hook it up bam got fuel..crack the injectors crank crak crank vrommmmmm knock knock knock...holy **** 10 yr old fuel on a 500 truck that's never been touched and every singlething works...sorry but I thought this was an exciting day yesterday thought it was a hell of a score

Holy batflaps batman! FREAKING BADA$$ BUD!! I would so be stoked! What a MERRY CHRISTMAS! LOL Awesome find. So are you going to keep it and drive it or are you going to sell it for a profit. Bet that truck cleaned up would fetch about 2500.

 

Hell no lol 1 owner truck wih only 60k on the clock she's a garage keeper I def like the truck...runs surpurbly well for a 27 yr old truck..the glow plugs don't work but that's no a big deal..funny part is the darn thing starts and runs easier then my powerstrke...she's def a keeper
