Hey there.
Give a call or email to Mike Butler @ 5 Star Tuning. He would be best to answer your questions, sell you a programmer and build you some safe and effective tunes.
Just got off of the phone with him,he answered every question I had and was very personable.I'll probably be ordering one from him in a few days. Thanks again for the info.......
Just ordered my tuner from Mike at 5-Star,it should be here next week,I'll keep you posted with the results,..He was able to see that one of my strategies for the throttle opening percentage for full or wide open throttle is set at 37 degrees from the factory. He said that my throttle response and driveability is going to be a dramatic improvement....I can't wait.!!!!!!!!
i just got a tuner from mike for my 2011 expedition
first drive, it seems to be slight improvement over stock, but i don't know if it is gear hunting or something, there is some hesitation of sorts accelerating.
i also have a superchips cortex 1950 with canned tunes, and the canned 87 octane tune seems to make the expedition drive better then the 87 performance tune from the sct.
Haven't received it yet,but I intend to post my results when I do....By the way TCAS007,your Expy in your avatar is a twin to mine,I know there is a bunch of them out there..........
