Renters have been putting anhydrous on the fields. I have never seen that done in January in Iowa...

Hmmm, it is nice to be wanted... Been called for 2 interviews in the last 2 days. John Deere called me this morning about my welding experience. Seems that the guy didn't want to take no for an answer, as I told him I already got hired on elsewhere. I did tell him technically I do work for Deere, just not directly. I would even have to check to see if I can even go there, as they have an agreement with Deere that they can't recruit away from them. You have to be outside of employment for 6 month to go to work for Deere from Centro. The Vermeer called me yesterday wanting an interview. We had always been told to get our jobs locked in early, as they don't hire as much after the 1st of the year. Almost seems like that isn't true this year. Either that, or they finally started actually paying attention to what was in the pipeline... Sucks for them, as I already have a gig I am happy with. They didn't wait...
