I agree. I just started watching it within the last week or so. Thankfully they've shown some of the previous episodes back-to-back. Better than Sons of Guns, IMHO, but that one's okay, too.

I've wanted a cowboy rifle for quite a while--ever since I shot a friend's lever action .30-30.

Great show where they built an 1866 Winchester 'Yellow Boy' cowboy gun for that rancher. One-of-a-kind.....beautiful!

I watched that show for the first time, a couple of weeks ago.

I tried to watch it last night, but wound up watching the inside of my eyelids, instead.

The last I remember, some guy set $10,000 on a table, and a slab of silver on top, and said, "You've got 10 seconds to pick that up. . . . ."
Arrogant son-of-a-gun. (Pardon the pun!)

If you think these reality shows are taped live and not scripted or staged, then I've got some bad news for you about professional wrestling too.

Chris,
I never said that it was taped 'live'. I just said that this was the last thing that I remembered from the show, a couple of nights ago.

I didn't fall off of the turnip truck, yesterday. . . . .

i dont care if its acting or not... all the buying selling and trading are real. real guns, real machines. thats all that matters. just like sons of guns. those machines are real and they made them with there own hands.

but my favorite american guns episode is the one where they made the scout rifle for the injured veteren. the guys that work at gunsmoke truely have hearts of gold

definitely worth it. my friend gave me his marlin .30-30 when I got back from deployment (which i'm still speechless from) loved that rifle before it was even mine!
