I have a 98 explorer and I was trying to change my clock and now I can no longer see the display. All the lights on the buttons work. It is just the display that does not. Any Ideas?

Look farther down this list - look on the next page - I saw a mention there - it's been discussed many many times. There is an easy fix - and it's not a bulb. ;-)

Yes, there is a fix. It worked for me and I have seen it all over the internet. It has worked for many others. Now I am sure you can find it free on the internet somewhare you just need to look!!! Almost ever ford forum has it somewhere. Just type radio display. However you probably will not be able to get the detailed instructions without paying. At the site I will give you, you have to give a $20 donation to get the instructions. A small price compared to the $250 for a new one. But they are very detailed instructions. I had never done anything like this before and I fixed it within 20 minutes. If you dont feel comfortable doing it yourself he will do it for you "for a price ofcourse" or he tells you where to by the defective part. He it is. Good luck.
