+2.

You really don't want to waste $ throwing parts at it. You DO have an electrical issue, it'll take time, but it will save you dollars to slowly and carefully diagnose.

Project is on hold for the moment until we get more time to mess with it.

Was it blowing the fuse before the fuel pump went bad?
If not make sure the wires didn't get crimped putting it back together and if you used the new wire harness make sure it is wired right that may be the issue

We didn't replace the fuel pump. When we found out the ecc fuse was blown we replaced the PCM the fuel pump worked again. We put another fuse in it and unplugged the CCRM and tried to start it, the fuse didn't blow. We have checked the wiring as best we can and found no damage. the CCRM is inside the fender, I have no idea how to get at it to replace it.

The ones I've replaced, I had to remove the inner fender panel.
