hey dudes
well we got the truck aligned. He let us watch and help, amazing what the right tools will do. So the new coil springs lifted the front end about 2". right at the limit od needing a new pitman arm and drop down pivot bracket. The pass side had a 1 3/4 cam and the driver side had a 1. Both sides needed a 2 3/4 to get the camber close, still about 3/4 positive. Pretty cool how an impact with 1100 foot pounds can blast the lock nuts off and then how the impact hammer pushed the cam out. See the pics for how he put a line on the tire to measure the caster.
new cam in
chauk line
measuring tool
big enough for a semi or motorhome which is his main business
Mason learning whole bunch about aligning a front end

Looks like the truck is coming along great! I remember when I bought mine last year, shortly after I bought my car (my baby!). Knowing I didn't want to drive the car in the winter, I decided on a truck. I was 19 at the time, and to be honest I still like puttsing around town in the truck more than the car. The car is more of a back road/highway missile.

Listen bub....That car...Is a good platform....Can swap parts with same vintage Lincoln Town Cars, and Crown Vics....Long live the Panther Chassis cars...
A mild rewarming of that engine, a set of 3.73 gears and some upgrades to that AOD......YOu could jerk some pretty smirky smiles off people's faces...

oh and gratz to Mason for passing on the first time!! might want to remind him to look over the sholder next time, especially in these bigger trucks...people seem to love to drive stupid around you in a larger truck for some reason but eh what ever...glad to hear (read) he passed!!!

Well it took almost 2 whole months for him to get his first speeding ticket. Late for an appointment and not thinking very clearly they tagged him for 77 in a 50. Most of know that speeding when late often makes us more late. Good thing he is working, this is not going to be a cheap ticket.

He said he was crapping his pants and very nervous. By chance we had just cleared up a mistake Progressive made on the insurance coverage just the night before. The ticket will be around $200-230. He will go to the court date and beg just to see if we can keep it off his record.
