Transfer Case Question
I took out the drive shaft to check the rear-end and all is well there, no play or internals that look bad, but on the TC output for the rear there is about 3/4 of an inch of "slack" in the movement. No up and down movement, just slack in the actual revolution of the shaft. I am afraid it is something nasty and I have never torn into a TC before and was hoping ya'll could offer some advice on what I can look at or for.. I'm pretty sure it's a 205, but don't really know how to tell the difference.
