Running Board Subframe?
Anyone know if stock running board subframes are available? I went to fix my running board lights today and found that my subframes are rotted out. Skins and mounts are fine.

I know the skins are....someone posted about them recently...not sure about the frames....

16N470, angle brackets that fasten the running board base to the truck
16A464, running board base



Check Official Ford Parts Site | Buy Motorcraft & OEM Ford Parts Online | FordParts.com, plug in your truck info, search the catalog for "running board"...there are a bunch of bolts and other stuff you may want to check.

Good info.. Mine are not in need of the parts but the link is very usefull. I tryed to rep you but said something about spreading the reps.. Thanks

Maybe a good time to look at the Amp Research running board.

Have thought about it, but I'm getting ready to put on new tires, probably hubs, and a fewother things. New battery, batteries needed in the big boat....you get the idea. Thanks,

I see these all the time on CL. Easy to find one for an F250, but they're 4-5'' shorter than the Ex version. Probably not a big deal to hide it under the longer Ex plastic top.
