Quick history 124K on the truck,fuel mileage has gone down and power is flat on the top end.Stock injectors and DP tuner.

OK I have talked to a few of you guys about doing this test.So here is the results,with using a AE scanner.

Cylinders #1 0.0 #2 0.7 #3 0.2 #4 0.0 #5 1.1 #6 0.0 #7 0.0 #8 2.8

Looks great to me Brad. #8 will always give you a higher reading then the others. Mine is a lot higher then that and there is nothing wrong with my injectors. The gray CPS will have higher #'s.

Your numbers do look good. Like mentioned, the CPS will have an effect on PERDELS as will the LL injector in #8.

Here is a test I did on different CPS numbers and the PERDELS.

Thats what I was thinking...
Brad, have you done any WOT pulls with AE while watching your HPOP pressure?

Time to make some WOT runs.I have a TE moded 17* it might be losing some pressure.

Also truck has a Black CPS.

Thanks for the info guys.

just replaced my modded with a t500...found out thru live tuning, i was holding at 1500 psi. the new t500 is holding my stock sticks at 2400 now and the sticks have 204k. my symptoms were very similar as yours...very flat on top end. didnt notice any mpg drop...

from what i understand, the modded is only as good as the core. i guess the core i sent was a dud...check icp and ipr to be sure, but id bet its not holding pressure

What are these terms you guys speak of?? :
PERDELS
TE
T500

I've checked my rotational velocity with my scanner. I dont think any of my numbers are at 0%, and my #8 is around 5.2% I think. I believe I have the Black International CPS. Does that mean new injector time?

PERDELS=percent of rotational velocity change

TE= Terminator engineering

T500= A 17* HPOP rebuilt and modded by TE

No, that isn't a sign of bad injectors. If I had to guess, I would say you have the grey or dark blue CPS with 5.8%. That is a pretty standard reading from what I have seen. Have you run a CCT test with AE yet? More than likely you will fail on #8 but you may pass 6% seems to be the pass/fail on automatic trucks.

If you are experiencing problems with your truck, you should perform more troubleshooting and see why the problem exists. Don't throw replacement parts at it trying to lower PERDELS. I will tell you that the black CPS, FRx, and now my T-500 have dropped my PERDELS down quite a bit. The FRx and T-500 are efficiency modifications that take advantage of design. The OEM black CPS was designed for the truck and IMO is built better than the new ones. It has a much stronger magnet and thereby sends a more true signal to the PCM.
