Okay, even through it's almost half way through the month, I'll go ahead and post up another BS thread for the month. This is the place for chewing the fat or whatever is on your mind. So jump in.
Hope everyone is doing well and has most, if not all, their shopping done for the holidays. Haven't seen the sun for the past three days. It finally poked out this afternoon, yea.
So anyway, I'm working on my very first attempt at making wine. I have a ton of blueberry's left over from last picking season and figured I'd give it a try.........I already make an awesome jam out of them so why not. My brew has been fermenting for well over a week now and last night I took on the task of squeezing the daylights out of those little suckers. My whole house smelled like a rather potent wine while doing this and I swear I was getting light headed just from the smell.............loved it.
Next step is to rack it into the 6 gallon bottle and let it sit for a couple weeks.............
Can't wait to do more than just these little taste tests, but I think I can be patient enough for the batch to do its thing............
It would be really cool to have a cb radio to transmit at least 500 miles to chat away on the road with fellow chapter members. I was looking throu my old Marine box today chatting in silence with my fallen brothers and found my old cb radio, a gas mask, and a few spent chells I collected while in Iraq. I though, maybe its a little difficult to meet all the time but at least if we can all communicate and play around with some cb slanging.. ""Break,, 809taino crossing 104 mile marker with some gummy bears, can I get a copy? Come back!"" Lol.. I used to to sit around listening to emergency transmission on the radio for hours.. Just for fun. You should ty it some time. You'll crack up listening to truckers speaking the language of truckers. Pretty cool. "Over"
As some of you know We are trying to get a badge design going and based on the requirements and some of you all ideas I'v compiled a simple design.. I need feedback to either improve the look or finalize for site approval and manufacturing of decals.

Looks good to me. That'll look good on the rear window of my truck.
Thanks again John. Well, it's the last day of December and last day of 2011. Man, where does the time go?! Praying that all have a safe New Year's eve and a better 2012. Keep the shiny side up and the greasy side down!
