Why won't the same Flowmaster that's used on 1903-2002 models work on a 2003?

Normally, you only have to worry about model changes (like changing from the 97 F-250 to the 99 Superduty). If there is a kit for a 2001-02, more than likely, the 03 is exactly the same. Also, Flowmaster and the others dont make 'vehicle specific' mufflers. Rather, they make certain sizes that are popular, and are interchanged between many makes. Youll probably find that case designs are the same for all F/Bronco, Chevy, etc...
