choke fixed...now fast idle question?
I have the choke problem fixed, thanks for every one's advice....now I need to get my fast idle set. where is the adjustment screw for my fast idle? I have looked all over the carb, and I can't see it anywhere. I found the idle speed adjustment screw, but not the fast idle screw..,....thanks yet again, ben
.....this is on my 1986 351w HO 4 barrel carb in my 1978 f100...thanks, Ben

The fast idle screw, is between choke and carb. Look down from top between choke and carb. there is about 1/2in. gap to see it down there.
The fast idle works with choke. The adjusting screw sits on a cam. As the choke opens, this cam is to allow the idle to slow down with it.
With my truck; it sometimes works and sometimes don't. If it don't; I just give it a quik kick-down with the accelerator, if I know its warmed-up enough.
