Epic, is it smog test legal? Those of us in California will be getting smog tests after 4 years.
I checked and yes it is. I wouldn't have been able to put it on if it wasn't as I'm subject to emissions tests. This does not affect emissions at all as it only replaces the tail pipe and two resonators.
It looks good, but I have decided that I do not have enough disposable income for an exhaust on this truck. As long as the DPF is still in place, replacing the tailpipe does almost nothing but look good.
Epic, you should have spent all that money on more of those burgers that you seem so fond of in your videos! LOL

I totally agree, this is really just a cosmetic and acoustic thing. Just something to set it apart a bit. I was surprised to see the inner diameter of the stock exhaust at only 3.25 inches though. The portion of the tailpipe that I took off included two resonators also. So this mod removes about 8 feet of 3.25 inch pipe with two components and replaces with a zero restriction tube. Mathematically there will be an improvement there. Realistically though, can a person appreciate 1%? lol. I have no way to even begin to calculate the actual change.
It's a lower, more throaty sound compared to the nearly silent OEM setup. I can also hear the turbo whistle more. I think the resonators were tuned to remove almost all of that turbo sound. You definitely wouldn't compare this to the complete DPF removal or straight pipe mods. This is much more subtle.
