removing quick connect on clutch slave
Have a 1990 Ranger with a 2.3 engine and 5 speed manual trans. I'm having trouble releasing the quick disconnect on the clutch slave. I bought the tool recommended and it seems too large. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem. The trouble is that they get real corroded and it won't release. I ended up cutting mine off and buying a new hose with the fitting on it. I also replaced the slave cylinder because I couldn't get the old fitting off of it.
Everyone recomends replacing the slave cylinder when redoing the clutch.
